I literally cringe when I read things like this, how will any true gamer be sated by marketing rights?? Let's forget sales for a minute, how are marketing rights suppose to make up for a lack of true AAA exclusives for your fanbase to enjoy. It is great for Sony but not so much for their fans.
I think it will and it will begin with halo 5, TR and the gears remake this year and that is just breakfast we haven't even gotten to dessert yet. Hard to get excited about Sony's conference when you know outside of uncharted that you won't be playing those games for years. Meanwhile this year I'll be enjoying great AAA exclusives like halo, tomb raider,gears, forza, ect.
If you truly wants this kickstarter to succeed bring it to Xbox. That move will surely at least get the ks funding raised to at least 7 million. I personally have not pledged yet because there is no Xbox version and I am sure thousands of others are in the same boat as me.

MS has me excited for this year, sony has me excited after the next 4-5 years. I am basing this off the LG and versus 13 development hell statuses. I would not expect ff7 or Shenmue to release in at lease 4 or 5 years.
The bombshells sony dropped were great, but how long until we can enjoy those games?? FF7?? hell FF15 doesn't even have a release date and Shenmue is 3 years maybe 4 years away from release at best.
